Intelligence is a multifaceted thing

This book is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to understand how the human brain really works. The author cites solid research to support the evidence that people learn in many different ways. For years people have been taught that learning is simply a cognitive activity. This book illustrates how other types of learning, such as emotional intelligence, compliment and interact with cognitive processes. Understanding, recognizing, and appreciating non-cognitive ways of learning is essential if we desire to empower people who are primarily non-cognitive learners.

Expands intelligence research to a new level. Excellent!

In Three Faces of Mind Elaine De Beauport has beautifully combined research, years of observation and her own experiences to expand current theories on intelligence. She has taken the three parts of the physical brain and attributed to them 10 separate types of intelligence. Each type has its own chapter combining exercises and insight. Excellent!!!!
