The Thorn

By Neil Carmichael

Former #1 New Release in Religious Historical Fiction _________________________________________________ Suffering a devastating loss at the hands of Saul of Tarsus, Josiah bar Godel regrets ever having made the decision to follow Jesus. Feeling abandoned and betrayed and no longer able to trust God, the young Jewish artisan leaves Jerusalem for a new life in Rome, only to find himself on a spiritual journey that takes him to a destination he could never have imagined. Set in the world of the New Testament chronicled in the Book of Acts, The Thorn brings biblical characters and Christian fiction to life in an inspirational story about searching for answers after the very foundations of Christian faith have been shaken. In this novel, perfect for fans of biblical fiction or historical fiction--and even those looking for a bit of Christian romance--the author weaves a compelling story of God's faithfulness in the face of the human heart's struggle with grief, guilt, remorse, redemption, and forgiveness.
