A well-organized book. This could have been a textbook. There are enough black-and-white plates scattered throughout the 350 pages. This book has plenty of references, with appendices starting on page 213.
It seems difficult to find any personal information on the author John Willett. However, we find his name in many books on the Weimar Republic. Sometimes he is the introducer.
