This book selects the most beloved and well-known poems from Tang Dynasty poetry, covering representative works from various periods and schools, presenting a relatively comprehensive picture of the overall style of Tang poetry. It also strives to include Tang poems that appear in the primary school Chinese language textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education. The poems are organized by author, arranged alphabetically by the author's surname. Each author's works are further arranged in the following order: five-character quatrains (wuyan jueju), seven-character quatrains (qiyan jueju), five-character regulated verses (wuyan l shi), seven-character regulated verses (qiyan l shi), yuefu poems (Music Bureau style), and ancient-style poems (guti shi). To help children recite and understand the poems accurately, pinyin phonetic annotations are provided for each line, along with appreciative commentaries. Each poem is also accompanied by beautifully colored illustrations, helping to enhance children's reading interest and aesthetic appreciation. Additionally, each poem is accompanied by wonderful audio recordings.
