The Story of Psyche

Psyche was a mortal princess so beautiful that people began to compare her to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Angry and jealous, Aphrodite ordered her son Eros (Cupid) to make Psyche fall in love with a terrible creature. However, when Eros saw Psyche, he fell in love with her instead.

Eros secretly arranged for Psyche to live in a magical palace, where he visited her only at night and told her she must never look at his face. Influenced by her sisters, Psyche eventually lit a lamp to see him while he slept. When she discovered he was a god, she accidentally woke him, and he fled, feeling betrayed. Heartbroken, Psyche must set out to win him back while facing the wrath of Aphrodite.

Can she complete these tasks and win back Eros? Or will she remain heartbroken and defeated?
