Nikki Mahlia (R. N. Headlam) was born in Jamaica but grew up in the Virgin Islands where she discovered her love for writing by the age of eight. She wrote her first novel in high school, and later went on to publish her debut book in 2020. She lives with her two cats, Lily and Rosie in a comfy apartment overlooking the ocean.
