5 stars, Loved it! THE STARS THAT BECKON (STARPATH - BOOK 1) by Kevin J. Simington Wow! Just Wow! This book was amazing. Not only the plot and the way it kept going, but also because there wasn't much if any objectionable language in the book, which is always a +++ for me. The author manages to get through apocalyptic scenes with everyone around the main characters being annihilated, without using profane language. I want to read the rest of his books, just for that reason alone. There's a character or two or five in this book, that will appeal to nearly everyone. The author quotes great theologians in snippets throughout the book. Trigger warning: gore. I loved the heroes and hated the bad guys. Lots of chuckles, some choking up at times. I purchased this as a free book from Amazon. The author appears to be a Brit, given the language translations.
