Good Civil War Story

This is the second book I have read from this author (see also Resistance Women), and the author does not disappoint. For whatever reason, this read slowly for me despite the believable story arc and likable characters. As I experienced with her other title, the book is well edited both from from the copywriter and content editor perspectives. Frustratingly, this has become less common recently and for that reason I appreciate it very much. Poorly edited books are hard to read if you know editing, because the constant errors (or laziness) are so distracting. If you enjoy historical fiction, you will enjoy this one.

The Spymistress ,will keep you enthralled from cover to cover.

I just love this book. I'm completely enthralled with WWII books and this book didn't disappoint.
