Outstanding First Mystery!

I've been a cop for over 20 years, and the author, Phil Messina, gets it right. I was drawn in to the portrait of a small, quirky Pacific NW town, much like the one where I reside. The police investigation details were very realistic and accurate, and the dialogue rang true. I found myself wanting to hang out with John Lee Wolfe, the main character in this outstanding first book, and will look forward to the next in the Monte Christo series.
