Engagement is our physical response to what we value; respect is our intellectual response to what we value; lust is our sexual response to what we value; love is our emotional response to what we value; and service is our spiritual response to what we value. Our values, conditioned into us by the overt and hidden paradigms that context them, always determine the essential nature and extent of our human expressions. Until we recognize how our past and present empirical, psychological, religious, spiritual, and philosophical paradigms that guide our value systems create or distort our natural inner values of life, and begin to see them as helping to create our conditioned inauthentic emotionally and spiritually immature selves, our relational ground with ourselves, others, and all aspects of human life will be limited, contradictory, and bloated with false versions of true truths.
