The smell of fresh paint was almost over powering and she began to open all the windows down stairs. Frank was working in the attic room so he would be okay, and not get the smell. Then she remembered the gold coin "Oh shit I nearly forgot," she said out loud, and went to the empty tin of paint. She washed the tin under the cold tap and put her hand inside. There was no gold coin. She put her hand into the tin and went around the whole of the inside, no gold coin. "But how can that be," she said and then shouted out "Frank honey come down here for a minute will you please." She heard him come down the attic stairs, and then he was in the kitchen "What's up darling." "That gold coin has disappeared into the paint." "What do you mean disappeared," he laughed. "It fell into the tin but now I can't find the damned thing." "Look darling maybe it fell on the floor, and you just thought it fell into the paint tin," Frank smiled at her and raised his eye brows as if to say it could have happened................
