The Six Elements

Drakem, the god dragon, ran as evil forces pursued him. He flew to the nearest cover of the trees in the forest. Below him, he stared at the beautiful mountains not far away where his family was. He was scared, but he had to face them-the world depended on him. His tired legs ached in pain, but he could not stop. Soon, the dark forces reached him. He stood ready for the final battle. He would fight with all his strength because he knew that for this raging battle to end, a great sacrifice would have to be made. Even though he was sad and tired, he flew with great confidence.
The evil forces laughed in unison as if they were one being, then charged at him. Drakem dove just in time; he roared and slashed his claws at the nearest opponent. His opponent crumbled and fell out of the sky into the river below the tall canopies.
