Funny, life lessons, and good southern slang

The oldest slave to still be living taught so many people in his town what it meant to be loved & respected. Although deaths took place throughout the story, there were important lessons and legacy left for others to learn and grow from. This book keep me laughing and turning pages quicker than I could read the words. I laughed so much, my husband decided he wanted to read it once I got done. The two small teenagers in this book know a lot for their age and I love their obedience to their elders and friendship they have. There was never a dull moment in this book. I enjoyed it so much, I purchased 4 more books from the same author and can't wait to get started reading those. BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!!! READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
