Commanded back to her husband's bed... Women did not walk away from Sicilian billionaire Rocco Castellani. All he'd wanted was a lovely, biddable wife. Instead Francesca had taken off before the first dance at their wedding breakfast But Rocco has tracked down his runaway young bride, and now she's back by his side--where a good Sicilian wife should be Rocco was cheated out of his wedding night--and now nothing's going to stop him from taking his virgin bride....
Good Book. agreed with the other reviewer didn't like that he went to a club to party with another woman. but whatever LOVED IT.
Good book...

Francesa (Chessie) is a sweet sheltered girl who wanted to escape her horrible and repressive home life by marriage. Rocco, on the other hand, wanted a nice, sweet, demure, and virgin wife who would stay home and take care of the children. From the onset, they appeared to be completely mismatched. Chessie left on her wedding day to escape who she saw as a replica of her father. Rocco instead starting searching and finally found her once she returned back to Sicily. From there, the story begins. Both are at odds with the other's expectations of married life. With some bumps along the way, they do finally find a way to make it work. My complaint was actually at the core of this story - Rocco being a Sicilian man. He had very tradionalist views on how he expected his wife to act and what he expected her to do (and let him get away with). Perhaps I do not understand the Sicilian mindset, but I just kept thinking how backwards this character is and why would ANYONE in her right mind want to be with someone like that.
Good book but one annoying issue.

I liked the heroine. Even though young, she was feisty, smart (for the most part) and really grew throughout the story. The hero was a bit clueless but gorgeous. This book was intimate, addressed a lot of real issues in some marriages (well fantasy marriages at least), romantic and had a happy ending. One stupid moment in the book stopped me from giving this a perfect rating: The hero saw nothing wrong with leaving his wife at home and going partying with another woman. He even claimed he was not intimate with (as if!! - he's a man after all) the woman he took out, despite her being scantily clad and not just out for innocent fun. Other than that this book was what one would expect from Harlequin Presents and would like to see more of.
