Understand Your Word in Prayer- Exceptional book!

This is the only book I have seen that takes the words of the serenity prayer and really looks at what they mean.Pietsch tells you the author of the prayer and write it in its original form. Often people in a 12-Step program say these words, but don't have a clue how to work them into their real life. "Accept the things I cannot change" What is that all about? Easy to say, but try living it! The author give a very clear interpretation based on theology that shows one how to put those words into practice. Remember, God takes care of the spiritual part and we have to take some part in the practical aspects of change. You will read how God can assist in giving you the courage to change. Also you will read the Hebrew definition of sin. Suprisingly, it is not only the moral wrongs we all define, but not measuring up to Gods intentions for you.Even if you are skeptical about the faith part, the author gives you some insite into how to deal with this as well.A must for all who say this prayer or are in any recovery program; and for those who suffer from additions and the ones closest to them.
