Makes ‘Come Follow Me’ far more enjoyable!

To begin with, I am a person who loves learning of the Latter-Day Saint early history. These books have been great for me, but I understand that not everyone is interested in this sort of thing. But again, yes these books are amazing and have been so great for me! Before every section of the D&C there is a ‘historical context’ section that goes through what was happening to Joseph Smith and other Latter-Day Saints at the time Joseph got revelation for these verses. I find this to be super helpful when reading the D&C, it really gives me a new perspective while studying. In the book there is also commentary between verses that further explains the historical context, or gives fun insights I’ve never really thought of before! I did not regret buying this package, it has not only helped me be more motivated for ‘Come Follow Me,’ it has been effective in teaching me more of the church’s early history! Highly recommend!
