The book's title really and truly says it all. This is one of a uniquely lifechanging, singularly impactful group of three books. For the sake of all persons, but especially for future generations, I regret that these went out of print. The companion books are Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Nutrition and The Save Your Life High Fiber Diet Cookbook. Get all three. The author is a medical doctor with strong, well-researched and well-documented surprising information about the critical importance of choosing whole unprocessed and high fiber foods such as, for only two examples of dozens, one hundred percent stone ground whole wheat bread and unprocessed brown rice. He shows why there are really no alternatives to proper eating. No medical jargon, his presentation is crystal clear. Parents need these books. Everyone with concerns about colon cancer, diabetes, heart disease, nutrition, and general health and vitality needs these books. We live in a nation of abundance yet the diet of the average person in this country is worse than in the Third World.
