The Savage Green

A renegade scientist has gone missing in the dense tangle of thorn and kudzu which lines the red dirt backroads of the Florida panhandle, known to locals as The Savage Green. A paramilitary contractor has been hired to track him down. Along the way, he encounters vicious wildlife, hostile natives, and a powerful supernatural force which threatens to unleash Florida on the entire planet. He is assisted by a series of colorful letters, wherein the narrator details his experiences coming of age amidst the drugs, poverty, and ignorance of mid-2000's suburban Florida.

The Savage Green is a highly experimental novel which is loosely based on Dante's Inferno.
