Marton's excellence in this surpassed that in the first book in the trilogy!

I was pleased with the tale of Jacob Wilde, the first book in the "Wilde Brothers" series, but I enjoyed Caleb's even more! Caleb is a strong, handsome, brilliant, gallant Knight in Shining Armor! A role I had not expected of him from the glimpse afforded in the first of the trilogy. He encounters the brave, resilient Sage in an unfortunate situation in a club, where she waitressed. A potential relationship is born! Sage makes a lasting impression- as does Caleb himself. The author was brilliant in sketching him as the more vulnerable one; the one more invested in their future. Sage remains stoic and independent as the tale is woven around them, between them. Lots of chemistry, some unfortunate misunderstandings, some obstacles resulting from their different upbringing, social status and life experiences. It was well done. I enjoyed the conclusion; sweet and romantic. I recommend this series,and am now seriously contemplating proceeding beyond the final book in the trilogy to learn the stories of the Wilde sisters! Reading on.....
