Cute cozy mystery with a cat narrator

This was such a cute cozy mystery set in Ocean’s Edge, a 55+ community where the residents team up to help the police solve cold cases. I love a story with a quirky cast of characters, and The Retirees delivers—especially with Mr. Anderson, the crime‑solving cat, stealing scenes along the way. The story pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until the vigilante killer is revealed, leaving you thinking wait… what?! The witty banter, the boozy drinks served in hilarious mugs, and the overall charm make it a fun, fast read. I also enjoyed how the ending leaves the door open for a possible sequel.
