Not Everybody Wants to be on the Front Page

Reporter Stephanie Maguire is frightened of the two men who at the very least are out to mug her, when out of nowhere a handsome stranger comes to her rescue and saves her from the thugs, then he leaves without any fanfare. Stephanie senses a story in the stranger and she starts digging for information on Derek Kane, who turns down all her offers for an interview.Derek Kane doesn't want anything to do with the gorgeous reporter, however she apparently has other ideas about him. She just doesn't get it, he doesn't want to be in her paper, doesn't want to be called a hero. He just wants to be left alone. He comes up with a plan to get rid of her, but it goes awry and despite everything, he finds himself falling in love. However he has buried secrets that can hurt them both if he lets himself get carried away.Ms. Worth has written a first rate inspirational romance, blending faith with the romantic element beautifully. Her characters are well drawn and move through the pages of her story as real as any I've ever read. I loved it.
