The dragon lord, Kyg, now the Royal King of Byndra is finding his place as the head of the royal court. His Consort Samin is coming to terms with his pregnancy under the care of his husband and his faithful staff. The Spring Equinox, an annual royal celebration, is only a few weeks away and Sam takes charge to show the Byndraian that he can become a loyal Consort to rule alongside Kyg. Kyg is caught up in his royal duties, while Xeg is in charge of securing the palace and grounds.
