The Proof of God

By Samuel Ley

Breaking with centuries of tradition that say that proving the existence of God is not possible, The Proof of God solves the long-vaunted issue concerning whether God exists. This book argues that 'God is almost everywhere' with the effect that proving his existence is very easy; indeed, for over two thousand years, the solution has been expressly set out in the Holy Bible.
Drawing insight from the Scriptures of the Christian faith, this book argues that God's existence is demonstrated in both the Judges and Prophets of the Old Testament and the Gospel of Christ in the New Testament. By exploring the nature of 'proof', this book breaks new ground in an age-old question. Proof, it is argued, is a matter of God imposing Himself on us; it is He who makes the important contributions to our daily lives.
Thus, firstly, Man proves God because of his intricate design and image, and secondly, God proves God through the sending of his Son to the cross to die and resurrect for our sins. Whilst the Christian narrative is well-trodden ground, this book presents it in a light never seen before to definitively conclude arguments about God's existence in his favour.
