A princely story . . .

Contemporary category romance novels hold no charm for me. I do NOT want to read about cowboys, babies and/or daddies. But a prince? Hmm. That'll get my attention, every time. I'd never heard of this author before reading this book, but I'll certainly remember her in the future. Prince or no prince. In this instance, the Prince is Rand of Caldonia, and he is of an age to be married. His parents issue the standard ultimatum. Find yourself a bride, or we'll find one for you. He's investigated some of the current 'available's' only to be bored silly for a multitude of reasons. He needs help. If you want to find an eligible princess-quality person, where would you turn for such help? Why, to the person who is the foremost royalty-watcher in the world. She just happens to be Nicole, who is also a Caldonian, but for the past several years has lived and worked in New York as editor of Aristocrats, a colorful magazine devoted to royal-watching. How can she resist the offer to help her country's prince find his Cinderella? She can't, and I imagine any of us so appealed to, could not, either. Rand is a pretty with-it prince, although the centuries-old family castle needs a lot of up-dating, especially in the technology area. Through her sources at the magazine, Nicole finds lots of possible eligibles, but one by one they're eliminated from consideration, until finally -- well, you should read it for yourself. It's a very satisfying book on many levels. Extra fun if you're a royal watcher, yourself!

TRULY A SWEET, SEXY ROMANCE

I LOVED The Prince's Bride! It puts tabloid journalism and royalty together -- I mean, can you imagine a tabloid journalist MARRYING a prince? We all know they just follow them around with cameras, right? This is a hilarious idea -- but it truly works in the novel. I fell totally into the dream of marrying a prince and living in a castle -- especially a castle equipped with clawfoot bathtubs and laptop computers.

A fairy tale for modern times

If Cinderella had been written in modern times, taking into account today's tabloid press and their fervor to cover royal entanglements, THE PRINCE'S BRIDE would be the result. Ms. Cozzens paints a vivid picture of life in the royal palace at Caldonia. She keeps readers cheering for the sexy Prince Rand and magazine maven Nicole Aldridge from page one right through to the end, and wondering, "will they or won't they?" Romance fans will definitely classify THE PRINCE'S BRIDE a "keeper." I look forward to Ms. Cozzens' next book!

Wonderful entertainment!

I read this book practically in one sitting. I loved it! A lot of fun, especially if you're a die-hard romantic like me. How many women today grew up with fantasies of being swept off her feet by a prince? Probably most of us. "The Prince's Bride" shows the complications which can arise when a commoner falls under the spell of a prince. A true grown-up fairy tale.

Wow! What a great love story

I really enjoyed this book. It was truly romantic, unlike some "romances" I have read. The Prince and Nicole each had to reach deep down and make sacrifices for the one they loved, showing the depth of their feelings. It made me want to cry, but it also made me feel good.
