This book is part of the Crighton series - the Chester branch of the family. It certainly can be enjoyed as a stand alone story, but as with all the Crighton books you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of them if you read the entire series! Penny Jordon has once again given her readers a book to remember. I have enjoyed her novels for years now and see this one as one of the best. She has a style that reaches womens hearts and inner most desires. Again, her ability to make you laugh, make you angry, and of course make you cry for the heroine, is awe inspiring. Thanks
