Amazing Story!!

I would highly recommend this book to any military wife going through a deployment, or just wanting some insight into another wife's experience. This book helped me start looking at my own husbands deployment differently! If read a lot of deployment books and this by far is my favorite! I only wish it was longer, I read it in a matter of hours!

Hands down...GREAT book

I love how this book is true! Its not an outsider looking in. She takes you through the Military life, and lets you know that your not alone while a loved one is deployed. It makes you laugh and makes you cry. I recommend this book to anyone! Changed my life. Thank you for writing this book, and thanks for your support!

Absolutely the BEST real life veiw of the "other side" of war.

I could not put this book down. Jessica told it like it was in her book. This is not sugar coated for your reading pleasure. She shares intimate pieces of her life that touch your heart. I couldnt stop crying. She shares stregnth, courage and determination. I would reccomend this book to ANY servicemember or anyone in a relationship with a service member, man or woman. Being in the Army and have deployed to Iraq twice, I wish that this book was on hand for the loved ones at home to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If you liked this book I would highly reccomend: Band of Sisters: American Women at War in Iraq

True to the point

As a Marine Corps wife myself living at Camp Lejeune, Jessica put into words what we go through. It's not glitz and glam..it's hardcore but it's our life and we accept it because of the love of our military man. Jessica did a wonderful job. I'm very glad to have gotten to read this. Thank you jessica for writing such a wonderful insite to our lives. Semper~FI
