Why this isn't a bestseller, I don't know.

This is a wonderful story. Well written and easy to read. It has suspense, drama, intrigue, deception, confusion, romance ... oh the list could go on and on. I'm an avid reader and I typically don't read romance novels. But, this book is not your typical romance - it's much more. I've read many of the current bestselling authors, and they have nothing on this author. Can't wait to read more of her stories.

The Other Laura by Sheryl Lynn Harlequin Intrigue # 367 - April 1996 Ryder's married to a witch of a woman. He stays in the marriage because he adores his stepdaughter. A bullet hits Laura and sends her car over a cliff. She's thrown through the windshield, tearing the skin on her face and shattering the bones, so that she is beyond recognition. Miraculously, she awakens from her coma but she doesn't remember who she is or anything about her life as Laura. Nothing about her is the Laura before the accident; even her personality has changed. Laura thinks she's going insane with memories that aren't hers, and with the knowledge that she was so hated that even her child hid from her. Ryder soon comes to realize that this compassionate and passionate woman can't possibly be Laura. This is an awesome book. Sheryl Lynn makes Laura and Ryder very real. I've read other later books by Ms. Lynn, but I must say this one is the best of hers I've read so far.

About an artist & a woman named Laura who looses her memory. Plot is different than any other romance story I have ever read. Takes place on a diverse Ranch.
