The Orion Project

By Daniel Randis

A routine equipment installation on a remote island. A teenage stowaway on the wrong boat. A captain who just wants to finish the job and get paid.
When the crew of the Noah's Lark reaches an isolated install site, they encounter something that shouldn't exist. Within hours, two men are dead, a captain is fighting to keep control, and a frightened kid is caught in the middle of a situation no one understands.
By the time anyone realizes what's gone wrong, a detective in Long Beach is asking questions, a corporation is quietly repositioning itself, and a new phone is about to change the world in ways no one intended.
The Orion Project is a grounded slow-burn thriller about blind spots, unintended consequences, and the way the world changes behind the scenes.
