Book Overview

In the 1940s, the physician and natural scientist Dr. Wilhelm Reich claimed discovery of a new form of energy which charged up living organisms and also existed in the open atmosphere and in high vacuum. Reich's laboratory and clinical findings indicated this new energy, which he called the orgone, could be photographed and measured, and had powerful life-positive biological effects. Reich trained other scientists and physicians in his findings,...

The cure for cancer of which few are apprised!

When you read the statistics and facts concerning the effectiveness of the orgone accumulator in preventing and curing cancer you'll be astounded! I personally believe that the reason modern medicine continues to ignore it is because its inventor, Dr. Wilhelm Reich, was unjustifiably painted by the U.S. Government as a snake oil salesman. I first heard of the orgone accumulator when I read Jack Kerouac's hilarious '50s fictional account, On the Road (Penguin Great Books of the 20th Century). The orgone accumulator of "Sal Paradise's" (Kerouac's alter ego) pal in this instance was quite a primitive one and, of course, Kerouac had inserted the device in his tale to make the orgone accumulator's owner look even "crazier" than Reich himself. From there, on a whim, I began my orgone accumulator research which ultimately led me to The Orgone Accumulator Handbook: Construction Plans Experimental Use and Protection Against Toxic Energy because one day, I will definitely build my own personal orgone accumulator. This work contains the most up-to-date information on how to build the contraption, including technical advice on the best materials to use. Dr. Wilhelm Reich was a former peer of the renowned Dr. Sigmund Freud (who, ironically died of cancer from having smoked one too many cigars, a life-long habit in which he refused to desist) but the two men fell out somewhere along the line. After Reich came to America, he focused upon his study of orgones which led to his Avant-garde discoveries and the invention of the device. If you were to actually build an orgone accumulator and site it somewhere in your back yard, your neighbors would probably assert that you had constructed a diminutive-looking, space-age outhouse -- that's what a finished one looks like, albeit there's no quarter-moon cut into the door. Reich ultimately began building and selling his orgone accumulators but this act is what led to his subsequent demise. The U.S. Government was soon alerted to Reich's "bizarre activities" and, purely for political reasons, he was criminally indicted and summoned to court. Reich foolishly ignored these summons and, through a subsequent comedy of errors on his part, he ended up being locked away in prison for nothing more heinous than having written a book! Orgone Accumulator Handbook A trivial item, Reich happened to be imprisoned alongside one David Greenglass, the brother of Ethel Rosenberg who was executed along with her husband (Julius Rosenberg) as "atomic spies," (David narrowly escaped the death penalty himself by testifying against his sister and brother-in-law. Ethel was probably also innocent of the level of crime of which she was convicted. Greenglass's recent revelations are astounding: The Brother: The Untold Story of Atomic Spy David Greenglass and How He Sent His Sister, Ethel Rosenberg, to the Electric Chair.) Since that dubious era, numerous broad-minded individuals have constructed and tested various models of orgone accumulator

Clarity about an incredible discovery.

It may seem unbelievable, but many of the most revolutionary scientific discoveries have been regularly suppressed for decades. This book deals with one of these discoveries, which was called "the Orgone Accumulator" by its inventor, the late Dr. Wilhelm Reich. Instead of receiving applause for this discovery, which Albert Einstein called "a bomb in physics", Dr. Reich was prosecuted by the U. S. Federal Court and died in prison, while his books were ordered to be burned! Along with detailed historical information, this book offers equally detailed plans and information for the construction and safe use of various types of orgone accumulators. It is also an invaluable eye-opener for all the officially unexplained negative effects coming from high voltage lines, TV sets, fluorescent lighting and microwave devices.

Practical info for those interested in constructing an accumulator

This book is exactly what the title says "Construction Plans, Experimental Use and Protection Against Toxic Energy". it is especially useful for anyone who actually wants to build an Orgone Accumulator or other Orgone devices. There is plently of information on the web about Reich and Accumulators, but much less so when it comes to the specific details of construction, such as building materials, usage, safe/toxic, ect. From the forward by Eva Reich "the principals for construction and experimental uses of the orgone energy accumulator, with detailed suggestions for needed material, layering, and dimensions" If you are interested in learning about reich and his work then the definative biography is Myron Sharaf's "Fury on Earth" or check out some of his writings or the published journals.

Excellent introduction into Reich and orgone energy

This book provides an excellent introduction into the life and work of Wilhelm Reich and is a must-read for everybody who wants to know more about the life energy he called orgone and his controversial discovery, the orgone energy accumulator. A note of correction to the review of Mr. Purcell: Reich NEVER worked on any "atomic bomb development", neither in Nazi Germany nor anywhere else. He fled Germany in 1933 after Hitler came to power - read his book "The Mass Psychology of Fascism" if you want to know why - going first to Skandinavia and coming to the US in 1939. He built his own independent research facility in Rangeley, Maine - now the Wilhelm Reich Museum - and never worked for any government agency (another cracy allegation flying around on the internet is that he was somehow involved with the "Montauk Project", which is also absolute nonsense). In the 1950's, when everybody thought a nuclear strike by the Soviet Union was imminent, he was actually hoping to find a way to counteract radiation sickness with orgone energy, but could never complete his work because the FDA prosecuted him for using the orgone accumulator to heal his patients. He died in prison in 1957.

Read this to finally know why you should turn off the TV.

I'll not repeat the reviews already displayed, but add what I found to be elusive until reading this book. Every now and again, we read that "TV is bad for you", but the reason is not provided. Here you will see the charts that show the bad effects of TV on life forms, not even exposed to the picture tube, but just being in the same room while the TV is on. Also applys to other common appliances, including computer monitors. NOW I would like to see the author use this procedure to test the many devices on the market, to show in similar charts just how effective they are in protecting the immediate environment from these bad effects.
