The Olive Tree's Promise is about a little girl named Leila who visits an old olive tree in her village. One day, she finds the name "Sami" carved into the bark and learns that he was her cousin who had to leave the village long ago and dreamed of returning.

With help from her grandmother, Leila discovers that Sami left behind olive seeds and hope. She plants one of the seeds and adds her own word "Hope" next to Sami's name.

The tree remembers both children and shares their stories. One of leaving. One of coming back. And their memories grow like the tree's roots-deep and strong.
