Stands the test of time

My oldest received this book as a gift when he was about 2 yrs old and Loved it. With all the animals that live in the tree, there is at least one for your child to relate to, whatever his mood is that day. The illustrations are gorgeous watercolors. And the message of the book is positive, without being preachy. We read the book frequently for many months. Now our 2-yr-old twins have discovered the book, and the oldest, now 4, is in Love with it again. The surprise pop-up at the end just seals the deal. I've bought several copies to give as gifts.

Sure to be a favorite!

This book reads like a classic and deserves to become one. The message of acceptance & collaboration is clear while not preachy and the pop-up at the end a magical surprise. My almost-4-year old is enchanted . . . and so am I.
