Fun, witty, crazy!

The Old Man and Me follows the adventures of an american girl in London. But not just an ordinary girl, and not just ordinary adventures. For Honey Flood has come to London with a very specific purpose in mind! And boy, isn't it fun to find what it's all about. Elaine Dundy sure knew how to create quirky heroines... Cheers to that!

Pulls you along

Opportunistic young woman crashes then yields to series of bizarre people and circumstances. You definitely want to keep reading, although the heroine is not exactly sympathetic.

Stellar "chick lit" even before there was such a label

This book is gripping, well written, and has an undercurrent of creepiness which keeps it compelling. The author's intro helps put the story and setting into context which added to my appreciation of the book. I'm itching to read more from Dundy.
