Each case in The Name Files gives you a list of 3,000 first names printed in columns across dozens of pages. Somewhere in those pages is the killer. You have 15 clues. Work through them one by one, crossing out every name that cannot belong to the murderer. When a single name remains - that is your suspect.
This book contains 10 cases, each with its own crime setup, suspect list, and solution. Across all cases there are more than 30,000 names to eliminate.
WHAT MAKES THIS UNIQUE: The clues work on two levels - the properties of the name itself (its length, starting letter, syllable count) and its physical location in the book (page, column, position in the list). You will need sharp eyes and a good pencil.
