The Most High in the Trenches
Faith hits different when life gets real.
The street will test your loyalty. The cell will test your mind. The comeback will test whether your change is real.
The Most High in the Trenches: 100 Days of Faith for the Streets, the Cell and the Comeback is a raw urban interfaith devotional for people fighting through street pressure, incarceration, addiction, broken trust, grief, family strain, reentry, and the daily battle to become better than their past.
Written for believers in the Most High-including Christians, Hebrew Israelites, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Muslims-this book respects the differences between faith traditions while bringing readers together around truth, accountability, discipline, prayer, and purposeful action.
Every day includes guidance from the Tanakh / Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and the Qur'an, followed by straight Real Talk, honest reflection questions, a practical move, a prayer, and a declaration built for action. These pages confront anger, loyalty, money, temptation, relationships, fatherhood, forgiveness, responsibility, and the hard work of changing when nobody is watching.
This is not polished religion for perfect people. It is faith for the trenches-for the person behind the wall, walking back into society, rebuilding after loss, or trying to break cycles before they become another sentence. No fake perfection. No easy answers. Just spiritual guidance, hard truth, and one hundred chances to make a different decision.
Whether you are inside a cell, trapped by your circumstances, or building your comeback one day at a time, this book will challenge you to stop making excuses, face yourself honestly, seek the Most High, and put your faith into motion.
Your past is part of the story. It does not own the ending.
