Josh, Blake, and Tru - three young professionals - have a problem: they need to quickly find a new roommate if they want to make the rent.

A friend who makes web-based reality shows presents them with an offer: She will get them a roommate AND pay the rent for the entire apartment ... as long as she can film the roommates for her new reality show.

The hitch is that the new roommate, Socks, is a monster.

For centuries, monsters had stayed hidden. Once monsters were discovered, initially, they were hunted, caged, and killed. Now - though many people refuse to accept them - monsters are becoming a part of society.

Living with a monster presents new challenges to the roommates, and the roommates learn that living with humans isn't easy for monsters either ... especially when humans are getting clawed to death and Socks is a prime suspect.
