a can't put it down experience

This is an excellent piece of literature! Yes. it is a period piece but it is timeless. I don't want to give anything away ,just check it out. You won't be sorry. Kate Pullinger is a great writer and does not need to take a back seat to anyone. I am quite shocked that this book has not gotten more buzz. It really deserves it.
