Ailuin was the kind of fool who made poor choices for the right reason. He just wanted to drink, eat lousy food and sing with his friends. All that fool wanted was to keep his world happy. He never brags about a win in all his battles, but his eyes sparkle when he talks about planning a birthday party and making his friend smile.

Siora was not enough of a bastard to say it didn't matter if these beasts killed her people's home. Still, she was not nearly enough of a saint to say she killed these creatures selflessly. With each one she slew, she grew a little bit stronger and closer to changing the world.

Ailuin was ready to die, but Siora was prepared to kill. So best friends became worst enemies to save a single girl. During that showdown, Siora slew Ailuin at the cost of her future. At least she thought he was dead, but he was dragged out of the waters and taken to another land.

Three years have passed. Siora has retired to a peaceful life in the Empire as Ailuin fights his way for power in the Alliance. However, the powers that be have started playing a game to draw our knights back into the fray.
