The Meek Shall Inherit

By Michael Nemer

A disaster occurs outside the world class Holata Farmers Market. The city is thrown into a frenzy. Criminals stealthily operate throughout the town, causing mayhem and destruction. Rami Ahmadi, a thirteen year old boy, mute from birth, survives the wreckage. He realizes that living with his devious drug dealing brothers has become perilous. As Rami discovers the truth, he sets out, in his quiet way, to battle the plethora of insane, vile and vindictive characters that are plaguing the town. The police are continually thwarted in their efforts to connect the dots. The Meek Shall Inherit is an intricate and often humorous tale of crime, drugs, family and revenge.
