A Response to a Less Than Positive Review

My name is Tony and I am the author of The Master Key Workbook. I want to take the time to respond to one critic'c comments about this work. Yes, the Workbook does contain many quotes from The Master Key System. After all, this is the MASTER KEY Workbook. I begin each "Week" (Chapter) with Haanel's "Letter of Transmittal," his "Questions and Answers," and his "Exercise" for the Week. I did this so that one could use the book on its own, without having read or possessing a copy of The Master Key System. I disagree that "two-thirds of it" is quotes from the MKS or other inspirational quotes. It just isn't. Yes, there are quotes; there are also explanations, explications, exercises, illustrations, insights ... "Two-thirds" is flat out wrong. About the "disrespectful tone," I whole-heartedly disagree. Please allow me to show the passages to which Mr. Ryan refers in their context and you be the judge. WEIRD FELLOW "A weird fellow by the name of Baba Ram Dass wrote a book entitled Be Here Now. In it, he explains that we must take advantage of the moment and not let the mind drift from it. How many times have you missed something that was occurring because your mind was elsewhere? Perhaps you missed your son get a base-hit because you were worrying about a project at work. Mayhap you were having money troubles and did not allow yourself to fully enjoy the holidays." Perhaps I should have put Baba Ram Dass in quote marks to correctly illustrate that I was being somewhat tongue-in-cheeck. That being the case, Baba Ram Dass WAS a weird guy. And HE would be the first person to say so! Do some research on Baba Ram Dass and let me know what you think. I am highly confident that after researching the man, you too will say that he's "weird" and that you'll say that he would say the exact same thing. JUNK "You probably know that old adage, 'One man's junk is another man's treasure.' As a matter of fact, you have probably seen or heard about it in operation. Perhaps you've seen the television show where auction people appraise what appears to be junk. They startle the owners of the junk by informing them that in truth, the 'junk' they possess is a valuable antique. "Closer to home, you've probably seen this adage in operation. How many times have you uttered 'I thought of that' or 'I could do that better' when you see a person making money with a product or service. In operation, the adage becomes 'One man's junk is another man's fortune!' "Within you is untapped power. There is 'junk' awaiting to be polished so that its true value can be ascertained. Your fortune is your mind! As you wait for things to happen for you, some one else is making things happen for them self. Why cannot you do the same? "The answer is simple: There is no reason why you cannot take advantage of your ideas. You must take action. To take action, you have to know what is in your inventory. This week, you will concentrate on what you have. From that point you can spring into actio

Master Key System is REAL

A long time ago I made the transition from blue collar worker to independent business man. It was something that I thought I was prepared to do because my entire life was one of "hard work" and diligence. So, when I entered into this new career I felt that I could make that transition without a lot of "speed bumps" along the way. Luckily for me, thru a series of synchronistic events the "mind stuff" came into my life just as I was going full fledged into business. What I found was a world that literally amazed me in its simplicity. Imagine (no pun intended) that a simple thought could have more power than all the hard work ever done! Then imagine that simple thoughts done with consistancy could have a more dramatic impact on your financial fortunes than all the hours spent "chained to the desk!" Better yet.....imagine that there were men and women out there who have already succeeded in business by using those simple principals and who were willing to write the "mind stuff" down on paper so that you and I could literally "follow the leader" to financial success. One year after my very first "major exposure" to the materials that are presented by Tony and Bob in this work book my life changed dramatically and all for the better. Today I own a multi million dollar business that continues to grow monthly and I look around at my life and realize most of it was "written down" on a piece of paper long before it ever really happened. And if you look in my wallet today you ll find a small piece of paper with things written on it that express my desires for my future. All of these things would be "wishes" instead of "eventual realities" had it not been for the information that is contained in books like this. If you want real change in your life.....start now.....buy both books and start NOW!

An amazing way to better your life!

I have read the Master Key System and followed the exercises a few years ago. I found that the system did indeed help me better my life by changing my thought patterns. However, lately life has been very challenging as I embark on some major changes such as a new career path and moving to another state. It was perfect timing that the MKS workbook was released and I decided to give it a go. It is the perfect companion to the insightful original book. It summarizes each chapter and then provides additional exercises or written materials that allow you to really grasp the idea behind each chapter. All of the exercises are clear and allow you to follow through at your own pace. The extra materials are beautifully chosen to illustrate Haanel's concepts. The format of the workbook is easy to read and follow with plenty of room to write in the book. The book itself is a comfortable size, not so small as to be uncomfortable to read but not too large as to be cumbersome to work with. It is a perfect size for a briefcase or a tote bag and lies flat on a table. A word of caution - the exercises and extra materials really cause you to think and reflect. This can be a bit difficult if you are being honest with yourself. Trying to physically list the twenty things that you do to hold back your own success can be daunting. However, I have found it to be liberating as you then learn how to apply Haanel's concepts to these negative patterns and change them into positive steps to success. To understand the MKS is great, but to be able to master it is life changing. This workbook allows you to master the concepts by engaging you both mentally and physically. I highly recommend this book!
