Another wonderful firefighter book

Dylan and Beth have been nemeses forever. Furthermore, whereas Dylan delights in the spirit of the season, Beth tries to remain aloof, because of unspeakable heartbreak in her past that makes Christmas very painful.When their attraction becomes undeniable, Dylan and Beth must decide whether it is purely lust or something to build a future on, and Beth, especially, must make a decision that could destroy everything.Shay's firefighter books are simply wonderful, but we never lose sight of the characters, who remain the central point of her stories.

Find me a man like Dylan O'Rourke!

What a terrific book! Both the hero and heroine are multidimensional and realistically portrayed.Emotions run high when reading this book. The reader finds her/himself cheering alternately between Dylan and Beth as they ride the roller coaster of love. The dilemna at the end of the book is one that intellectual, modern day women can really empathize with as they are forced to choose between their heads or their hearts. What a wonderful way to escape by reading any book by Kathryn Shay, particularly this one! Enjoy!

Dylan and Beth...enemies who become lovers...

This storyline has been done before. Finally, someone has done it right! THE MAN WHO LOVED CHRISTMAS is a delightful, emotional love story not to be missed. Watching Beth and Dylan's relationship change is sometimes fun, sometimes heartwrenching, and always sexy! Their animosity starts in FEEL THE HEAT where they star as secondary characters. I could not put this book down...it is very absorbing. Kathryn Shay is a gem in the romance genre!

Wonderful, emotional, sexy, funny book!

This is the 2nd in her series about firefighters. I am a very serious romance reader and I tend to stay away from Harlequins because, in my opinion, most of them are not good. But I am glad I listened to my friend and read this book! It is certainly one of my favorites and the equal of any "mainstream" romance book I've read. Dylan is irresistble and Beth (who he calls "Lizzie Borden") is his perfect match. The characters are well-developed, the story is emotional and sexy, and the entire book is very well-written. I recommend you start with Shay's 1st book in this trilogy, FEEL THE HEAT. Dylan and Beth are in this one as secondary characters. To say they do not see eye to eye is an understatement! It is a joy to watch their turbulent and hostile relationship develop! Do NOT miss this book!

Shay is one of the best in romance
