Big book with little facts

Very fat book, but condensed to maybe 4" x 5". It is chock full of pretty much useless information that is nonetheless interesting. It's the type of book that you would take on a plane or somewhere you don't have to pay a lot of attention to what you're reading. It is entertaining, never shocking, but will surprise you with the depth that that the authors went to in finding some of the oddest true facts. There are sections about animals who are tried for crimes, States that don't allow you to sing in the streets, and about a million more little facts and foibles that will keep you amused. Perfect bedside book; if you fall asleep while reading - you can find you way back easily.

Mammoth Book

This is an excellent book. There is a lot to read here. It is more like a mini encyclopedia of oddities.
