I bought this at the local Catholic bookstore because of an interest in learning more about the Saints. As a recent convert to the Catholic faith I was looking for a light introduction and this certainly filled the need. The author's Anglican background and easy writing style make for an informative and enjoyable foray into the lives of Saints he has chosen to focus on. This is an earnest examination of what it means to be a Saint as well as in general terms what it means to be Protestant or Catholic. I thought it inspirational and wouldn't hesitate to read another work by this author.
