This book offers a brief assessment of President Barack Hussein OBAMA-as seen through the eyes of an African-during his two terms as head of the United States, and indeed as a global leader. It describes how the expectations of various groups, particularly Africans, turned to disillusionment. Paradoxically, contrary to a certain view, it follows that, given the demands of the U.S. political system, President Obama-like other U.S. presidents, for that matter-was merely a lowly worker on the global stage. However, he points out that other, formerly marginalized social groups wield more power than a U.S. president. A few romantic tales in this book highlight the adventures that unfold in these circles or within certain stereotypical societies.
