Dangerous in the wrong hands.

As with any tool or even weapon, if used responsibly, it can be a help. However, if in the wrong hands, it can have a negative worldwide impact. As with any other dangerous item, there needs to be a background check and a waiting period for purchasers. It really could not hurt to have an age restriction, as underage people can easily be misguided. This item, when getting out of hand on a massive scale, has been known to create theocracies. You may be better off with a Ouija Board. If you find the book a tad dated and its views on chattel, oops, I mean women, a tad different, remember that these writings were made by primitive, isolated people without the benefit of hindsight or the communication we have today. You may also notice intolerance for people who may see the world differently than the writer. So, taking it with a grain of salt, the book may give a view of what can happen to a closed society with a handful of people using this to get the upper hand on the masses. This could never have been written today. There is one outstanding advantage in this version. It is the translation from an ancient language to a useful language; this removes any mystery that may have been left. This eliminates the ability to mislead while translating. Some versions are English only. Others are side by side. Be sure of what you are buying. It is also fun to read different versions of the same story. One word change can have a whole different meaning. Notice even though it is prose, it appears in the form of poetry.
