The Knight Who Was Afraid Of Dragons

By Ashley Dawn Morris

he Knight Who Was Afraid of Dragons follows Rowan, a kind young knight who is secretly frightened of dragons. When Stormwatch Castle's beacon goes dark during a storm, Rowan bravely carries his lantern to the castle.

There he meets Blu, a gentle cloud dragon who is just as afraid of knights as Rowan is of dragons. After realizing they share the same fear, the two work together to climb the tower and relight the beacon. Their courage guides travelers home and begins a lasting friendship.

The story teaches young readers that courage does not mean never feeling afraid it means facing fear with honesty, kindness, and help from a friend.
