A Pleasant Scottish-English Romance

Just before twenty-year-old Sue Granger's mum passed away, she gave Sue a letter and asked her to deliver it to a man named John Frazer in Scotland. Her boy friend doesn't want her to go and even proposes marriage, but a deathbed promise is a promise you have to keep, besides, she isn't ready for marriage.Her first day at a hotel in Edinburgh, she meets a man in a quilt named Meric, who is a little pushy. He wants to have a drink with her, but she declines. The next day she delivers the letter only to find out John Frazer is her father, who runs an estate in Scotland and his partner is none other than the antagonistic Meric, who at first doesn't believe Sue is John's long lost daughter. Instead he accuses her of being an imposter.And there you have the gist of this wonderful little romance written way back in 1975, five years before I was born. Boy, they sure could write nice love stories back then. I had a nice time, reading away, as the fireworks and sparks flew between these two and I think you will too.
