The Journey Back Home is a 30-day guided self-discovery journal written specifically for Black women navigating life with fibroids.
Structured across four healing phases, The Reckoning, The Excavation, The Reclamation, and The Becoming, this journal goes where most healing spaces won't and into what the women before you modeled about pain and what you inherited without agreeing to. Each day includes somatic check-ins that help you locate emotion in your body, creative activities woven throughout invite collage, body mapping, timed writing, and ritual.
Black women are diagnosed with fibroids at two to three times the rate of other women. They are diagnosed later, treated less aggressively, and still expected to show up fully everywhere, for everyone. This journal was created in direct response to that reality.
Written, designed, and guided by Courtney Pack, founder of The Social Narrative LLC, and a Black woman who navigated this journey herself. The Journey Back Home is an invitation to stop minimizing and start listening to what your body has been trying to tell you.
