While on holiday, twenty-one year old Benny finds himself stranded on an alien planet with a group of strangers and forced to play deadly games for the entertainment of a supernatural creature.

The mythical Jester is near omnipotent and cares only for his own amusement, often at the expense of others. He cannot be beaten, he cannot be escaped, even reasoning with him is a dubious proposition. Benny's knowledge of the worlds beyond Earth make him the natural leader for the Jester's prisoner. It seems doubtful any of them will survive, but if they are to have a chance, Benny will need to make a choice that will change his life forever.
