Mythology is in life

I liked this book, the description, and the certain situation these kids came upon, are taken out of mythology. Even though this is a fictional story, I think every young person should read it. It would open their minds and they would learn that even in their own lives there are myths playing out. These kids all know despair, as Sartre once wrote, "Life begins on the other side of despair."
