One year after the love of her life was killed in a freak

accident, Liz Barton's best friend is hospitalized with

life-threatening injuries of a similar nature as a result

of a horrendous accident. During her friend's hospital care, Liz

fortuitously meets Dub Wade who becomes her friend, lover, and

the second love of her life; but Damon Clark, a jealous ex-suitor,

sets into motion a diabolical plot to punish Liz for "dumping"

him and Dub for taking his place. Liz and Dub are to be sold as

commodities in Damon's heinous plot. Liz and Dub are forced

to fight for their lives to avoid becoming human pawns as she

and Dub face the end of life as they have known it together.
